LG-Nortel to Supply US$20mln NGN Equipment to VNPT

LG-Nortel has signed a US$20million contract with Vietnam's VNPT (Vietnam Posts and Telecommunications Group) to supply telecommunications equipment, including 270,000 circuits of time-division exchange switching systems and 140,000 lines of access gateways, for VNPT's next-generation network project. The entire equipment shipment is slated to be finished by the end of November 2006.
